This was a GREAT one ! Nice filming and trail. This guy Jeremy in the pickup (Colorado?) seems like a really great guy to have for a 4wd friend and a good guy in general! Hey Andrew, I got nothin' against mud tires, they rock in the right conditions for sure.. but when hard surfaces get wet the loads of sipes in AT's can add to the traction on slick hard terrain. You did well. I'd bow out to that one with my "only leveled" TRD though' . Think i'm going to try the Pembroke roads and Paul hill. Great vid ! (edit: remind ya' of blair witch" ? )

I run12 to 15 lbs on most trails, quikair 2 pump plus i have an onboard air system, 2011 Toyota TRD PRO, 4.56 gears, 3.5 inch Old Man Emu lift, 305/70/16 Nitto ridge grapplers had same size Cooper STT Pros before that, Factory E locker in back and limited slip up front, Hookeroad bumpers front and rear, 12,000 lb. harbor freight winch with synthetic line, Slag Factory sliders/nerf bars, rock lights all around underneath, and a bunch of other stuff. I think if you would change your gearing to match your tire size you would have much more precise throttle control as well as having a bit better acceleration on road and probably improved fuel mileage.

sounds like quite a rig!...for a toyota (jk jk i swear) i mean i avg about 23mpgs and i also have the super chips throttle control but it is a turbo so there's always a little lag but to be honest power isnt an issue in my jeep it makes almost 300lbs of torque it moves the tires really well i noticed very little difference from my stock tires. Gears would be nice I have 373s but i also have an 8 speed trans so i could go pretty short if i wanted to might be something for the future. also how did you go about your onboard air? i have a desert armor twin pump i guess if you get the onboard tank you can use it for onboard air but i have other stuff i have to do first. Thank you so much for your comment and watching my silly videos! I really appreciate it!

@@Jeeppeeps I finally finished watching it. You know you don't need a quick disconnect for that sway bar. Just crawl underneath with an open-end wrench and a rachet. Then zip tie the end link up to the sway bar. Really like the voice overs and music choice. The trails and jeepers are always amazing. The video production is coming along too. Keep doing what you're doing Andrew.

Love these videos. My Jeep just went into the shop for the "Pentastar tick." Was a little beyond what I was comfortable fixing. Have you guys done any wheeling in Unity? I lived off a couple class VI roads when I was a kid that I don't even know are passable anymore.
@Jeeppeeps
@Jeeppeeps Жыл бұрын
Hi Aaron, thank you so much. I really appreciate your feedback means a lot to me. It’s too bad about your jeep. I’ve heard about this what actually causes the tick a lifter or something? I’m pretty sure most of the trails in unity are still good part of the trans nh route goes through it after Newport. Thanks again bro

Gawd, NH’s beautiful! I run 35” K02’s on 17” wheels. I like to air down to 15 psi. I felt SO MUCH more comfortable climbing things (like that rock) in my Tacoma. The same obstacles are damned scary in my 2 door Jeep.
@Jeeppeeps
@Jeeppeeps Жыл бұрын
Why do you think you felt more secure in the Tacoma due to its lanes obviously the jeep is more capable but I’ve seen one too many videos of them flipping over that’s why I stick with the unlimited! Also, I agree, New Hampshire is one of the most beautiful places in the country maybe even the world… Thank you so much for watching and commenting. I really appreciate it.
@rael6_4wd
@rael6_4wd Жыл бұрын
@@Jeeppeeps The huge difference between the two is definitely the wheelbase. The long wheelbase of the Tacoma made really steep climbs feel almost effortless. Those same climbs are pretty intense in a 2 door Jeep. You’re right though, the Jeep is way more capable.
@Jeeppeeps
@Jeeppeeps Жыл бұрын
@@rael6_4wd makes sense. Sometimes I find the longer wheelbase of the unlimited to be a little bit too long but you’re right it is definitely more stable on hill climbs

Here's a thought, along with planting a tree, every time you dig a hole with a tire, you also fix the hole. We ride Dean Hill Road on our dirt bikes, and the holes you have created have ruined the road. Also, you have done this to sections of Homestead Road in Francestown, Craney Pond Road in Henniker, and other roads in the area.
@Jeeppeeps
@Jeeppeeps Жыл бұрын
Yes, it was us personally, we are the only ones to drive those roads also, I don’t think it’s very smart of you to put the names out there never once is the name Dean hill ever mentioned on this channel. Our group and this channel promotes leaving the trail as you found it as far as Ruts go…we’ve also done trail cleanups picked up so much trash..and organized fixing broken Bridges what have you done ? speaking of dirt bikes, you don’t think the 200 of you guys that were out at Strafford two weeks ago or the other 180 of you that were in Hillsboro didn’t have anything to do with the trails getting ripped up.?? You will never see 200 jeeps but you dirtbike’s ride in packs of 50. Also on Clapp Road someone that was in the dirtbike groups not only tied off a part of the road where there is a large obstacle They left there, trash, a.k.a. traffic cones and traffic tape out of the trail. At that point it’s just garbage our friend Scott had to clean up their mess!!!so instead of pointing fingers, especially at a joke because that’s what that whole thing was about planting a tree. It was supposed to be a joke.
@yermoffroad

Yep. Definitely us, not years of erosion..... land owners and the towns also always complain about us with loud exhausts, trespassing and speeding around town in packs.. wait no, that's dirt bikes.

Class 6 roads in New Hampshire (class 4 in VT) are public roads that are just no longer maintained by the town they are in. But they are (supposed to be) open to anyone that is willing to take the risk. These are not private trails or roads through conservation areas or private property (like many power lines are). In many places people will buy land and build homes on class 6 roads, and generally they will take on maintaining the road to their property, but it is still a public road.
