Epic! I love your EQ you put for your rhythm, I need to hop on that bandwagon, always sounds so strong, and your guitar won't look like ed sheeran's beat up git fiddles within the year. I'm not sure if you use your looper much on stage, but one of the great things about bigger loop stations (from a performance standpoint, and if you're playing a composition and not just jamming) is that you can set the number of measures on each of the 3 tracks (and have set memories for 99 songs) so if I practice a LOT and always know what my next move is then I'm always either playing an instrument and/or singing, or grabbing another instrument, or pressing pedals. It's also easier to set the first loop since it can be way shorter so there's a lot less room for error on getting the beat perfect (which you don't seem to have a problem with anyway). And the song is set a bit quicker and therefore looks more impressive. Whenever I see people set loops quickly, the first few times I watch it i'm like WHAAAAT is he doing?? So that's what I'm going for! I've got a long way to go though. That all being said, and I've said this before but finding you on youtube when I was doing loop pedal research helped inspire me to take that expensive leap and I love my ditto. Hoping to make some live videos too soon.

I liked the way you interpreted this into an acoustic format without losing much of the original instrumental's hard edge. One particular detail I wanted to compliment you on: the outro. The most obvious choice might have been to phonetically mimic the Amharic speech in the original...but I think there's a lot of potential for awkwardness (or worse) when someone tries to parrot a native-speaker of a language they themselves have no experience with. By converting the Amharic phrases into a brief instrumental phrase, you avoided that potential pitfall, which I think was a very good choice.

realfullmetal Thank you! In all honesty, just practice a ton. Start with something simple like a 4 chord progression song that has simple 4/4 timing and try singing over that. Once you can do that start trying something a little more complicated and work your way up from there. Eventually you will be able to do both simultaneously and with ease.
