my score -9/9 Crux of editorial - Education reforms made by UPA under right to education is a "no detention " policy up to class 8 made students to passing out of primary school without foundational numeracy and literacy. To fill this gap NDA government proposed to remove no detention policy in 2019 and leaving it to state governments to choose. But due to Covid 19 pandemic and opposition views regarding policy delayed the progress. The NEP 2020, wants to replace summative assessments with formative to give 360 degree , multidimensional progress report card. Thank you ma'am ❤

Crux of today's editorial-- There was no detention policy by UPA government in which no student will have failed in their class, this was implemened till class 8th. Then NDA government abolished this education policy due to less competencies in students cause of no detention, in this policy a final test will be taken which is mandate to clear by students but this policy somehow misses the NEP' s holistic approach.

Score - 8/9 In order to create a benevolent environment in the school the UPA government had introduced a policy that no student will be failed in junior classes which in turn lead to poor competency in the students. Now to change the things the NDA government amends the policy and bring back the single test for class 5 and class 8. However, this policy contradicts the scope of NEP which focused on holistic development of a child.

Today's editorial- Recently school reforms by the UPA government were made as a part of CCE in which up to class 8 students have no detention to fail. Primary Schools students do not have foundational numeracy and literacy. Even by the Covid-19, students do not have a physical touch to schools so they have the low foundation. It is mandatory for the students at the end of class 5 and 8 to access competence.CBSE affiliated and other private schools can easily apply the new policy but what about some states. However,Parents should take steps of his childrens study. 😊😊

Today's editorial UPA government created a law in which up to class 8 students are no detention because student will be free from failure pressure and continue their studies. But this idea of government proved wrong. Students are not care about their study due to no detention so that they do not have foundation knowledge. NDA government take a relevant step about this concern and stop this no detention policy. End of class 5 and 8 a final examination mandatory. If student will not pass in this examination after two months the student will re examined. If again he will not pass, he will be detained. Thank you ma'am. 😊

Earlier in the country there was no detection policy till class 8 .But Now NDA government is implementing NEP 2020 which states 1 Final Exam for Class 5 and Class 8 to promote students for further class .NEP 2020 says holistic approach or 360° approach to each students but in this policy nothing has mentioned about it .

One of the key school reforms made by UPA government was no detention of students upto class 8,it started from class 6 . It reduces the pressure of scary final exam and standards, so every year a significant amount of students passout without basic numeracy and literacy, it makes students less competitive as per current scenario. So NDA led central government firstly introduced detention policy and gave state governments a discretionary power to continue 'no detention ' policy. But in a recent notification of MOE it mandates a compulsory final examination at the end of class 5 and 8,it assess student's competence, if student fail then they should be detained. This new reform easily possible to implement in private and CBSE boards and it's also a hot potato to opposition political parties. As per NEP 2020 , Summative educational reforms should replace with formative but new initiative doesn't give reflection of it.

UPA govt. tried to create a benign environment for the students by applying 'No detention policy ' upto class 8, but as a result of it a gradual change is seen in student's performance. They are not performing well as there is no fear of failure.Taking all this in consideration,NDa govt. decided to have a summative test for class 5 onwards to check the competence of students which is a good step. But alongwith this as the narrator suggested for 360 development of child the govt.should also take some other steps like formative submissions, peer participation, etc.

My opinion about the reforms made by ministry of education is good.upa is implantated detetion policy on students that the schools are necessary to pass the students in elementary classes . schools cannot fail any student.but the cbse school can not accept this rule because students cannot have any fear of exam .so the cbse schols and other private schools can implement that the class 5 and class 8 is compulsory for students to beat the examination and pass them and then promoted to next class.if any student cannot pass the exam they get chance of two month for giving exam of same class .when they not clear the exam in second chance so the student can not promoted to next class

Good morning ma’am My opinion about the reforms made by Central government in educational system.UPA has implemented ‘ no detention policy’ to reduce stress and pressure of final examination on students.CCE took steps to implement final test in which students lack literacy because children were unable to catch up with their basics and core concepts. Now, NDA implemented the new reforms in CBSE affiliated schools and private schools which says that no detention policy has exempted in the academic curriculum. Students need to pass Final test after completion of their class 5&8 , to get promoted to the next class.

Educating a child is not the sole responsibility of the parents and teachers, but the society as a whole which includes his or her peers, relatives as well as neighbours. The dismal numeracy and literacy of elementary school pupils is a proof that we have failed them as a society. Continuous assessment and a "no-detention" policy were undertaken by the former UPA government which would reduce extra pressure on a child to do well in school examinations. But recently, the NDA government has scrapped the no detention policy and mandated a single examination to be conducted in classes 5 and 8, failing which the child will be given an additional chance and if h or she fails in the retest as well, detention in that particular class will come into play.

Today's article about education system policy. Student's poor performance is the main cause of implementation of no detention policy . This policy made students out of pressure for learning and in the consequences of students are week in performance and education. And a new policy is that one exam will be conducted in the last of year which will examine the ability of students but the writer was not satisfied this new policy, that is the national education policy. Because this policy is not sufficient for the improvement of students . Basically government should imply the real requirement of knowledge in his policy for students better future which leads a good environment in education system.........

Today's crux No detention policy up to class 8 by the UPA govt. And continuous and comprehensive evaluation (CCE) both sought to create a benign environment in school for children .That resulted as a current situation or not the reality is that a significant no. Of student pass out of primary school do not have foundational numeracy and literacy and they not catch by the time and they have leave middle school .Addressing the gap in learning The NDA govt. Sought to do away with no detention policy 2019.😊

Score 5/8 28/dec./2024 Today's Editorial There are important key reformes for good education environment. And it is lounched by the UPA Government into the Continuous Comprehensive Education (CCE). So No detention policy up to class 8 . So , this policy became for good education. While there was no pressure of final exams and ''standards '' on the child. The Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) executed from class 6 . In decrease steps throughout the year
