One of the glories of Kali Yuga. Clicking somewhere in my computer and instantly getting the teaching of superior /king knowledge without any valuable retribution to the master. Thank you Vic!

Hey Vic! 1) In every incarnations of Vishnu, he worshipped and did pujas for Shiva. Like Rama, Parashurama, Krishna they all did worship and puja for Shiva. Then why Shiva didn’t worship/puja for Vishnu ? 2) Also mostly Why Shiva worshipping as “Lingam ?” Instead of human form ? 3) And Who is Superior Shiva or Vishnu ? What does Vedas says ? Or “They both are ONE ?” 4) Why does Shiva considers demigod in Vaishnavism ?
@VicDiCaraAstrology2 жыл бұрын
1) Why do you think Shiva does not do vishnu puja? That is weird, it is described everywhere. Even in our very recent bhagavatam streams we saw Shiva teaching pracetas how to worship Vishnu. 2) They do. Vishnu is also worshipped in non-athromophic forms (shaligram shilas, for example) 3) They are one being doing two different things. But Vishnu is the aspect that is manifesting sattva, Rudra is the aspect manifesting haratva. So Vishnu is closer to the natural, inherent nature of Svayam Bhagavan. 4) He is not. He is considered a modified Vishnu-tattva. Devas are jiva-tattva. Shiva is not jiva-tattva. You have learned Vaishnavism from people who do not understand this part, maybe.

Its like I can't (yet) go straight to the source (Uttura school) sorry if Im not spelling it correctly* but its like this makes sense and then it doesn't lol. I took notes this video was very interesting.

Do some deeper reading. This is the same thing as christianity. All religions hold lots of truth. If I've learned one thing it's to not value one body of knowledge over another
@VicDiCaraAstrology3 жыл бұрын
the christian trinity has nothing in common with brahma vishnu shiva. it is however, slightly akin to the vedic concept of divinity as a triplicate: bhagavan, paramatma, brahman.

I understand that Krishna is the creator,Vishnu is the preserver and Shiva the destroyer.
@VicDiCaraAstrology4 жыл бұрын
you can understand like that if you like. none of the paramparas see it that way, however. Krishna is not a parcel of this extrinsic world (hence it is "extrinsic" or "material"). Ultimately Krishna is the generating force of everything, but when we are speaking of creation (rajas), maintainence (sattva), and destruction (tamas) we are speaking of Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva respectively - Krishna has no direct role there.
