I've just finished listening to the whole of your output, of course some data will help correcting the usual chronological mistakes, but not all of them are reliable. Your exposé is quite valuable, it still retains the old belief in a "primitive" genre evolving towards more "urbanised" types of music, while there is plenty of evidence of the reverse. No significant "Delta" residents before the mid-1890's, I'm afraid, and pentatonic scale in field hollers, no way ! I am also surprised that among influencial artists, there is no mention of either Sonny Boys, i.e. John Lee Williamson, a prominent Chicago artist who really founded modern harmonica blues. and Aleck Miller, a great and popular stylist who exerted a major influence on British blues guys..

If you’ve listened to all it then you need to give this man his due! Regardless of accuracies / inaccuracies this a WEALTH of knowledge. While the history section may not be groundbreaking, his study of the intricacies of the micro tonality of the different blues scales with a plethora of great examples is incredible helpful to the studying blues guitarist as well as quite novel in approach, it is not even close to be confounded to “pentatonic scale” nothing as in depth and useful out there as resource. Thank you funkpunk! You are applauded and commanded. 🙏
