I have to say: David Caraccio (davidsinrocks) inspired me to buy an audio interface and a camera and start uploading videos on KZbin in 2011. My first videos were bass covers too. Viaceslav's videos were a big inspiration too. And then a few years later this guy called Davie504 arrived, beat me in a bass battle and made me quit. Just kidding 🤣🤣🤣 You're all legends ❤️ thanks for sharing your love for the bass with all of us!

Damn, the nostalgia is real! I remember watching DavidSinRocks when I was a beginner back in 2009, him and MarloweDK were the biggest bass channels at that time. Then I stumbled across Viaceslav Svedov's videos and was blown away (the first battle you did with him is still one of my favorite bass videos on KZbin). Shortly after discovering Viasceslav in 2011, I stumbled across your channel, thanks to the video response feature back then. For me, you and Viaceslav were the ones that inspired me to make my own channel. Needless to say, your battle with Miki a few years later was incredible too! KZbin was so different back then but you've been killing it from the start. It's still hard to believe I've watched you grow from 4k subs to 13 mio subs but I'm happy to have witnessed this journey. Keep it up and "stay funky" bro! 😄🎸

This is an awesome video 😍 I played bass aged 12 till I was about 22, and I wasn’t too bad at it, but then life got in the way and I stopped - it was one of David Caraccio’s vids about 4 years ago got me to pick it back up (after a 15 year absence) - he’s such an awesome player. I now play bass full time for a living and I’m more obsessed than I was as a teen (and I practice properly now too!) KZbin bassists are the absolute single reason I took the bass up again, the goosebumps I got from David C’s vids were like nothing else and I knew I had to start playing again. Thanks to all of you for an epic vid 🙇♂️ 🤩

He gave me private lessons for over 2 years and sold be one magic bass :) It's worth knowing that David Caraccio is such a sweet human. He is so talented and so natural. I have so much respect for him. For the bass lovers, I can with certainty assume that you are missing something if you don't give a listen to David's projects. This man can surely groove. All of the bass players that inspired me to develop my technique in the early years brought together, that’s a dream 🥲 I remember it was 2010 and I had been playing for 4 years but I was stuck playing and listening only to punk music. Then I started opening to different music and I discovered by chance Davidsinrocks on KZbin, first with a Maximum the Hormone cover and I was mind blown. Then thanks to him I discovered RHCP and I learned how to slap watching his videos! Shortly after I also discovered Santamaria and Svedov exactly with those same videos (and especially Desert Eagle by Svedov that was a real life changer). So thank you so much everyone for this awesome collab, that really brought me back to the best years of my life 🥲

Thanx a lot for this video!!! Vyacheslav or simply Slava Svedov (pronounced Shvedov) is a good old friend of mine. He's from Vilnius (Lithuania), lives in Cologne (Germany) and for many years he's playing bass balalaika in the band "The Jancee Pornick Casino". We get to know each other back in 2003 when he was the frontman of his prog metal band "WaySide Peaks" (they wrote songs with lyrics by Edgar Allan Poe). He was playing the lead guitar, so that it was impossible to follow the flight of his fingers. Then it occurred to him to master the bass guitar, which he did. Then he got tired of that too. Well, he's mastering drums for several years now )))))
Watching your videos over 6 years. Now I finally got a bass. Really hope some advises from the king of bass like you for the beginners like me
