Great mix, great sounds, some of the best tracks ever included in this mix...BUT... The reality these days is money. When many of these songs were produced, I think making great music was the priority. As the scene changed and after becoming more than established, money became the priority. As someone who's been into and been a slight part of the scene for 20 odd years, there's a huge contrast here. We had the old DreamUKOnline days (2002ish) where big artists like Hixxy and Styles were filmed doing studio mixes featuring their production work. You could tell without a doubt they truly loved the music, the work they made and scene they were a part of. When big money came into it (of course through their hard work), the music has just become a means to an end. Even here, a great studio mix but you could well class it as nothing but a performance, an act.
