The History Of Chuck E. Cheese’s in Bowling Green Ky

Here is the 6th installment of my “History Of” series
In this video I go over the history of Chuck E. Cheese's in the Bowlin City, also known as Bowling Green Kentucky!
This video idea goes back to May 2021, just after the last CEC history video, because of how extremely well that video did I decided to do more CEC content in the form of continuing to talk about different locations, and since I'm familiar with Bowling Green I decided it was next!
I just want to thank all the websites and people who helped me complete this movie!

Here’s how Chuck E. Cheese 2.0 can get improved. Keep the animatronics Give new cosmetics for the animatronics Add all costumes to all locations Improve the dance floor and keep it with the animatronics. Make bigger locations Use updated Mitzi and dook and change cosmetics to Helen and pasqually. Add more arcade games And add more personality to the locations

I currently work at this location and our remodel/ relocation is set for June/ July 2022. Also, as a kid we did in fact have the SkyTubes but it was taken out in the early mid 2010s.

This was amazing. I never dreamed I'd ever see interior pictures/video of the original Bowling Green location ever again: I thought it was long forgotten. It was a glorious store! And yes-that ball pit was enormous. I had to be rescued from "drowning" in it by workers on more than one occasion. But the best parts were the turtle rides and of course the cheese maze.

thanks for covering our chuck e cheese's! actually, we did have skytubes once! if i remember correctly they were removed for unknown reasons around 2018-2019... really sucks because that was one of my friends and i's favorite parts, i have a vague memory of yelling hi to my grandmother from the cage it had :)

Born, raised, and still live in BG. Been to the Mall location many many times. I also remember possibly the only true competitor they ever had was a place called Zap Zone. It has laser tag and a huge jungle gym. Zap zone closed suddenly, similar to Pizza Time. Thank you for the interesting history of a place I’ve spent so many hours inside!

As someone who spent a lot of time in the original BG location, you got everything right. I still have the layout of that Chuck E. Cheese burned into my head. The tiny area for the flying turtles were right next to the ball pit. I seem to remember them having a really old submarine like arcade game right before you went into the main stage area. The King's cabaret room was in the furthest left corner of the place and I spent a lot of time there. The wall of skee ball machines, the cheese maze under the stage...man you don't know how happy this video made me.

How to improve the CEC 2.0 showroom 1. Dim the showroom lights 2. Make the animatronics interact with the dance floor somehow 3. Add latex cosmetics and replace them over time

Chuck E Cheese looked so awesome in the 80s, and this comes from someone who grew up with Avenger Chuck E. I love how snarky the PTT era Chuck was. I really hate the Rockstar Era Chuck E for a multitude of reasons, but one of the biggest reasons is that he's TOO realistic. I know Chuck was originally supposed to be a rat, but at least the previous versions looked cartoony enough, while Rockstar Chuck E looks like a mouse or rat you'd find in a mousetrap.

I really hope you can do the one in Saginaw Michigan. I remember when they were renovating the restaurant, they used a dumpster from my grandpa (he has a small dumpster rental company). I remember that I went in the dumpster to check it out as he let me go into them to explore. I sadly didn't find any animatronics as this was the time FNAF was pretty popular and took a lot of my attention. There were some old games and one figure of a green alien with green eyes, I think it was a part of a game, and my cousin actually took it for a race car ornament. I assume the animatronics were sent to corporate, or auctioned off because they weren't thrown out (if they were, I would have salvaged them TRUST ME lol)

i do a lot of research on showbiz pizza and i dont have any information on there being a showbiz in bowling green kentucky, there were only 2 showbizes in kentucky one in paducah which was apparently 2 hours away from bowling green and one in lexington which is also apparently 2 hours away... there was also a billy bob's wonderland in ashland kentucky which is apparently 4 HOURS AWAY from bowling green so no way they're thinking of that either... if anyone has any info/solid evidence on there being a showbiz in bowling green kentucky please reply to this comment because im trying to document every single showbiz location also can we talk about how chuck is holding billy bob's guitar at 10:41???? like i know they filmed all those commercials with a showbiz variant and a cec variant but i find it very funny that they didn't switch out the guitar.
