Recently picked up the Data East collection for Wii and this was the highlight. But even more than most beat-em-ups, you need a 2nd player, if only to have someone to laugh at the silliness with you.

This was a very solid Genesis title for me, I can't believe I never realized it was a sequel to Bad Dudes. It's obvious when you think about it. The challenge waa good and I could beat it most of the time after some practice, and it was a very fun 2 player game. The stuff you can throw was my favorite part, and the best tactic to maximize your damage. Its bursting with that extreme and weird "mutation is cool" 90s style. You think ninjas were everywhere, just look at all the mutants and clones.

Thanks for another nostalgia trip, sir! I had such a great time playing it with my brother on the Genesis, but I would like to share a more gloomy memory. I did think of this game right after the both WTC towers collapse. I got myself thinking: "dear God, nobody could had ever believe this. Even after a few nuclear explosions, they would remain still, just like the future in Two Crude Dudes... Now they are gone." Sad day, indeed.
@TV-Tony

I remember beating this game in a local comic book store. It was there under the Two Crude title. Great game. I also remember this being the only beat em up I've ever played where you can pick up and throw enemies. Only other game that comes close is Final Fight, where Hagger can piledrive and suplex enemies. I know other characters can be hip tossed, but not when picking them up.

This Arcade was at the end of a long empty hallway at a Mall back in the early 90's. Next to it was Karnov and Gate of Doom. It still looked cool, but I only watched the demo because I was much too intrigued by Gate of Doom and constantly fed my quarters into that one every time. Data East had a way with demos.

every day after school id put in 50p for 3x credits (20p play, 50p x 3, £1 x 7) and play it over a good hour over the 3x credits. I could never get past level 4 but it was such a joy to play. the characters and controls felt really chunky , giving the feel of actually lifting heavy objects and the tunes were everything fantastic about Planet Rock (which definitely influenced the orchestral hit when the game first opens when you crash through the wall)..... not just awesome addictive fun, but really cool with that 80's electro feel where there is loads of graffiti and you just wanna breakdance. has to be in my top 5 of arcade games ever
