I will say everything old is new again and as the song says "it's all a little bit of history repeating" I believe there will be a time when grunge comes back. And it may not be as good as ECW, but I think something like it may return one day

@@DaveKnowsWrestling what I mean is ECW in the northeast was a big deal but it was really just a regional promotion that had fantastic booking that took inspiration from Florida and Memphis and FMW but a lot of people (not you Dave) have made it out to be bigger than it was
@DaveKnowsWrestling3 жыл бұрын
Dan Evertt I hear what he's saying. It had the budget of and it was run like a regional promotion. If it was the territory days they would have done great and been allowed to grow at their own pace. It was a weird adjustment period back then
@DaveKnowsWrestling3 жыл бұрын
Dan Everett allow me to clarify. I disagree with Ryan when he said "it was more than it was" But I agree that "it got too big to be small..." My second statement was adding to that, as I think if it was in the territory system of old, it could have grown at its own pace. But because it was the new era, it was stuck with having to go national before it was ready to. It grew faster than it was prepared for in my opinion
