Nah, to me it gives me an equal but opposite sensation to the one of the backrooms. Sure, it's a huge empty building that is uncanny for not being inhabited, but it doesn't feel eerie or creepy, just calm and familiar and full of potential.

It actually makes a lot of sense if you consider the name "Construct." The video man didn't seem to catch on, but the couch in a white void from the first version of gm_construct is undeniably a reference to The Matrix. In that movie, they also have a featureless white room with comfy sofas that can load in any desired object. And the room is called... "The Construct." I always figured Construct got its name from players "constructing" their Source creations in a basic environment, but it turns out it was actually originally intended as a reference to one of my favorite movies all along. Who knew?

As i can understand, map always turnes bigger and bigger in every update and finally in gm_construct13, the buildings that nearly right behind of the map has been added. Isnt that would be good that the map having an update after 7 years and adding the condos and some grass with catwalk that left of the apartment that next to warehouse. That would be awesome!
