So many good memories with this game. So many hours spent trying and failing, until you finally succeeded in taking 1st. I was 10 when I first started playing this and wish I could go back to this time.

I still have GT2. But you forgot to mention the fun that was had with 2 player split screen and, the fact that if your friend had the game you could take your game save on the Memory Card with you to their house , put it Mem slot 2 and race against them in the cars the you set up. Something that went missing after GT5 Online came about. My brother and I would set up every car and compete on those tracks in split screen. Plus the replay views were the best in GT2.

After the disappointment of GT7 i've since beaten GT2 3 and 4. They are still excellent. Just wished the opponents were smarter & more of them.

i really think GT2 is the best racing game i ever played.enormous amount of cars,many events,lots of modifications,great tracks with variety,dirt races all in one game.and those blow off valves of the turbo cars...

It's one of the most comprehensive title of GT franchise, RM your everyday car into its racing equivalent at that time never come back after GT2, livery editor and GT Auto modifications still can't recreate that. .
