Absolutely. This is the closest thing that Gamera had almost died in the fight, like temporary blindness, rupturing a lot of his organs, and losing his right hand, which was shocking.

And I didn’t know guiron almost returned In the second heisei gamera movie in the trilogy now that’s shocking but legion had did moves that cut or chip in this case heisei gamera’s shell and had light saber whips that impaled through gamera’s tough armor which she also did it with her splittable nose thing too so yeah I guess legion has some sharp weapons like guiron

Nice video as always. Some of the Gurion designs were far out there. Shame the little flying squirrel thing got cut, but such was the way for Gamera movies. They reused the same Gamera suit for ever movie and literally only had money for 1 new suit. Luckily all the gamera monster suits looks pretty amazing. Very detailed and what not. I think the most haggard looking one was Jiger, but I chalk that up to them trying to keep the monster on 4 legs and not the knees like in most 4 legged monster movies. That and there was a ton of monster fights and spfx in that movie. Way more than past films.

Guiron was actually the first Gamera villain that I heard of well found out to be more accurate when I did some research of the Japanese Kaiju franchise back in early 2005.

Personally, Guiron is actually my kaiju in this franchise due to the fact that his design looks unique compared to all the other kaiju I've seen in different movies. Also, did you know that Guiron's roars and grunts are also used for the allosaurus' sound effects in Walking with Dinosaurs?

The roar thing is a misconception, The G Team 2’s video of custom Guiron sounds was used for Wikizilla for some reason, and now everyone thinks BBC used Guiron sounds.

The laughs that Guiron made we're actually edited voice clips of the film's director Noriaki Yuasa. He also made Guiron speak Japanese by saying "くせえ くせえ" I'm not good at Japanese translations but this is the best you get

For the behind the scenes of Guiron for Gamera rebirth. The concept art of Guiron is close to the final design for the show, but there are differences throughout. Guiron originally has a tail, and his back is more akin to a pangolin. He also, for a short period of time, was his head has a mechanism where his knife head is able to launch off like a trebuchet (which the concept art of it is absolutely cursed) All of this idea is cut to make Guiron more like a 'living knife'.

Interesting! I think that they cut out most of the fight in the "Attack of the Monsters" version that aired on TV, and perhaps the fight returned in the VHS release. The title of the VHS was "Gamera Vs. Guiron" right, and not "Attack of the Monsters"?

That is correct. The fight scene was restored in the Sandy Frank VHS release in the 1980s, which I believe also used a different dub from what was originally seen on American television.

Do you know Professor I think maybe instead of blindfolding Komodo con I know that’s not how his name is spelled, but I actually don’t know how to spell it.
