Jermain Defoe is such an exemplary man both on and off the pitch. Growing up as a young spurs fan he is a player I idolised for sure. At spurs we are so lucky to have such humble and great men who play for our club. Just as I idolised Defoe I know for sure there are many who are doing the same right now with Kane. I started following the club for dembele modric and vandervaart, then came bale then eriksen but kane is the reason ill never not be spurs. To watch an awkward slow young striker (that if we’re honest, we doubted early on) become the complete destroyer he is today has been a real joy.
