A fascinating watch, once again, thank you! The Tam O'Shanter Inn in Ayr is only about 30 minutes drive from where we live. Ayrshire has a few links with the USA - Eisenhower enjoyed coming here for golf, for example, and had an apartment gifted to him at a nearby castle (Culzean Castle). Anyway, I find LA's history fascinating - this was a great watch.

Thanks, that’s such a coincidence. I stumbled on that Robert Burns real and noticed the name of the Inn. Wouldn’t have had any meaning to me before the trip to LA.

@@viewmastertravels5114 Aye, the Inn is still there, pretty much looking the same. It looks a little run down but I guess that's part of the "charm".
