Good video, I remember when me and myf were grinding this together, we would eventually get to 9, im pretty sure it was one of the 2 of us who got to 9 first in-game. I ended up dropping it for a few months but came back and beat it. Im just so surprised how myf was so far ahead of everyone in skill during that time period.

i remember watching the stream from tocr, from like 7 hours of stream, i prob watched 5 of them, it was a really good feeling to stay at his stream and finally see him beating it, i litteraly was like everytime that i did stop watching the stream "did he beat that" or "did he end the stream" (as a fun fact, thats how i did meet tocr, and it was so fun to watch that it became my fav tower in time, but yeah i know how unfun it is to grind tocr) + thats how i did know myf. Another thing is a bit of the "race" to beat tocp, boomsasok did a lot of streams of it and myf did do like 5 streams, i was like "no chance that myf will beat it first" but when i knew that myf got to 6-8 i changed my mind in one second.

This was when everyone was hyped about extreme and terrifying completions. The nostalgia of those people.. It’s just like it faded away. After Horrific and Unreal got readded, nobody seemed to care about Extreme completions, and soon Terrifying as well. Maybe one day Catastrophic completions will fade away too..

UPDATE: It’s been a year and I did a little experiment. I waited in 5 different servers until either a Catastrophic or a Horrific win popped up. 4/5 servers didn’t care about the Catastrophic win, and 2/5 servers didn’t care about the Horrific win. It’s official boys, Cata is irrelevant now.

I prefer tiered obbies over towers by far and I still find it amazing how kaan, while he may have used many skips in tower of generation faliure, has beaten harder obbies than ToGF. Despite this, it is crazy to me what myf is capable of doing and I definitely have to give compliment where it’s due. Anyway, nice vid :>
