I was reading recently about the Tibetan Empire, and apparently they had the Pala Empire as a tributary state. Although, evidence for this claim isn’t strong. The sources that claim this status are all Tibetan and likely exaggerate their power in the region. The only other source that can be considered “evidence” is a description that the Empire to the North of Pala started using the same name for kings as Pala. Which suggests the Tibetan Empire (aka Empire to the North) had equal footing with the leaders of Pala, within Pala itself. This suggests Pala being a tributary state of Tibet. But for how long and to what extent is still unknown, due to a lack of primary sources that aren’t potentially biased.

참 보다보면 느끼는게 인도 중국이 제국이 정말 많은거 같아요.. 중국은 진나라부터 시작해서 청나라까지 황조였고 현 대만인 중화민국은 잠깐 중화제국이였었죠. 인도도 알고보면 역사가 엄청 깊고 많은게 신기하기만 합니다(근데 이번영상은 방글라데시의 역사로 봐야되나?)
