From a song performed by Tracy Lawrence..."If the world had a front porch, like we did back then, we'd still have our problems but, we'd all be friends". My wife and I live in a farmhouse dating to the 1890s. We've upgraded it over the years but, other than replacing rotted wood, changes to that wonderful, wrap around porch were never even discussed.
