damn in 2003 the wr was actually what i average in pyra (i actually taught myself first and didn't use l4e cuz i just don't want to learn a bunch of algorithms) so my pyraminx story is in around feb 2023 i solved it for the first time. and fast forward to around spring break 2023 it took a while but i could solve it. and around april fools i actually started being good. (fast forward to a friday morning at school) so before i got like a 19. and then i got crazier times. fast forward to after last day of school (the unboxing is on my channel) so i got a gan pyraminx and a stackmat timer. so after i got my gan my qiyi pyraminx felt like TRASH. still somehow i can do 2 edges flipped in under 1 sec on that, takes a while. i don't use L' R L R' L U' L' U or whatever, i use one that uses a rotation. but super fancy. and the fastest time on stackmat (my dad actually did it) was 8 milliseconds. so now, i average around 14 in pyra, if it's a good day, i may get a high 10. low 10 if really lucky, if i got a 9, it must've been lucky. pyraminx is awsome until you step on it

My record was 1:00:91. Meaning one minute and 910 milliseconds. Exactly a minute higher than the world record. Edit: 50 seconds I know the Pyraminx well. If you scramble it properly, and I mean not just the tips, like the whole thing, so only 2 of the same edge at most are next to each other. If it’s scrambled like that, it’s IMPOSSIBLE to solve the Pyraminx in less than a second, unless you have really really fast hands Edit: at least 5 seconds minimum. Not 00:00:91. That’s possible with a 2 tip scramble, heck I could do it in less. But not a full scramble
@brendyndunagan4 жыл бұрын
It’s computer generated scrambles, so you can’t say it’s not scrambled properly
@brendyndunagan4 жыл бұрын
Also, if the scramble takes 6-7 moves, it could easily be a sub 1
@brendyndunagan3 жыл бұрын
Also, it wouldn’t take 10-15 seconds minimum for a world class solver to solve a pyraminx

@samplautz55864 жыл бұрын
I feel like for the newer records they kind of have it to them. Of course you can get sub 1 with 6 moves
