quincy is either the best thing in the game or the worst thing in the game but rn its insane with kido (new kido weapon + death dealing), kendo (mortal ties + death dealing), speed (new daggers makes getting to serum completely free), and its the best race in the game for medic (balance + running 20 in kido) its only the best with medic but its really really really good for everything else, and not to mention how insane true blut is (quincy sucks with hakuda rn tho, especially when taekwondo, lightning shunko, and prof variant all exist)

I mean like... Compared to the other races, Quincy is without question the race that gets their nerfs the fastest. Light res took what 3-4? Updates before it was at a reasonable level? Also can/will never understand the bustedness of Quincy Kido, Maybe I fought trash players but QKido has always seemed mid, with the only thing carrying it being Holy thunder & Licht Regen.

i feel like speed kendo hybrid dd also has to be put in atleast honorable mentions, with spalten still gb'ing, i can pressure w gift ball from far away, flashstep into crit and it either gb or they take the crit but gift ball came out of nowhere and lands on them too, nanoprodigy made a vid on it and i still feel like its the best build for 1v1, u have range, u have slow, u have decent dmg gb crit, and u have 2 trees to get skillbox skills from, downside being the essence nerf, rip hybrid 😭

not gonna lie the buffs were unnecessary, I can feel the impending doom of nerfs though I mained glutton before the buffs as I’ve used it for months, anyone who has used it for a while knows it was already good as is and then I randomly rolled the new quincy mythical while trying to get spalten too and oh my GOD it is crazy strong. I main full kendo and always have and it fits my build like a glove. I USE the weapon and I STILL want it nerfed, it’s just too crazy

a week ago ish i progged as a quincy, and when i played ranked on it i didnt take is seriousley and used the randomest builds and ended up w like a 2/12 W/L. When zweiss came out i spun for it and also got dd. in only two days i got to gold 1(ik it aint impressive) w a w/l of like 73/31 losses, excluding the losses from before and bugs where i fall outa the map and that zweiss crit bug its only like 10-19 legitimate losses on this build. Im not even a true letz and i dont have a cyber box. Quincy might actually be superior 😭. only reason im still gold 1 is cause my wifi tweaking out rn and it even caused me to lose 2 matches
