Of course I have to comment on this one 🙂! Your video was very well done again! I'll share what I know to answer some of your questions since I worked on that stage with the tech from about '94 until it closed (started working there in 1988 as regular front-of-house cast member). You've got a very sharp eye for detail! The reason Pasqually still had Duke's hands is because the correct ones were missing or damaged in shipping. I still liked Duke's hands better because they looked like real hands that were in a glove. The moon wasn't going up all the way because the shaft it was on had slowly fallen down lower and lower over the years. Eventually we readjusted it and tightened the set screw. Chuck E's ear flaps - they annoyed me too! The plastic bracket on his ears would break quite often and we'd have to order new ears. At some point the design changed and it had that extra fur on them that I kept tucking into the mask. I think I tried gluing it too. As more 3-stages closed, I would get parts that were in good condition to replace ours. The Building Mech had gotten pretty bad and started to have loud air leaks, so I may have had it off temporarily. If you look close enough in the videos you may notice it changes slightly because I obtained one from another location. Eventually I rebuilt both toll-o-matic cylinders that lift the moon and building, which is a pain to do! The moon also had been replaced because the original one had been rubbing on the building in front of it. One thing we did that really prolonged the life of the robots was replace all the bearings and bushings where a cylinder attached to the robot whenever it started to show any signs of wear. This keeps it from eating into the frame and becoming loose or damaged. Since the show was kept in good condition and the store had good sales, the managers had no problem budgeting just a bit each month for show parts. We could still get all the important parts from the CEC parts department, plus the managers and techs had interest in the show as well. After the final closing, some of the character parts were removed and sent to other 3-stage locations that had requested it if it was something relatively easy to ship (not sure which locations they went to), otherwise it was trashed.

Great video and to answer your question, Flint Michigan was also in exceptionally good condition throughout its years till 2020 and I guess Macsway too and I know a couple other stages too, but they have minor flaws compared to Wesleyan, Houston TX
