The History of The Prince's Trust

It all began in 1976, when His Majesty King Charles III, when he was His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales, had a bold idea.
Having completed his duty in the Royal Navy, HM The King Charles III became dedicated to improving the lives of disadvantaged young people in the UK. He founded His Trust to deliver on that commitment.

At The Prince’s Trust, we’ve been working with young people since 1976, we’ve supported over 1 million young people to date and our youth workers help 100 more each day. We help young people build the self-esteem and skills they need to move into work and stabilise their lives.

This is one of the most underrated charities around. I know 2 people personally that it has helped to set up businesses after no bank would touch them due to them having no collateral. Both are now successful small business owners, one has even been able to expand her business this year.

Good to hear the Commonwealth countries are being assisted. Here in Australia we fly our flag with pride it contains the Union Jack. We will miss the Queen she achieved so much in her life, we were half mast and had a private day of rememberance.
