My mum, grandma and dad worked at Greenwood and then Woodbine. My dad was in security, my mum and grandma worked a snack bar. My mum says she still has nightmares about the crowds during the Queen's Plate lol.

how did you manage to get the honest ed poster. What happened to the sign, surely someone would want to save it?

keep up the good work. I have been part of TO all my life, I was born and raised in Wiarton On. But my family goes back 3 generation since they arived from Italy. My great grandfather (Biagio Amodeo) owned a block of Yonge st, just north of Lawrance. I ended up working as an ITASE Projectionist during the late 70's and 80's I did releif work and worked almost every one of the 400+ Theatres that TO had back then. I was also chosen to be the projectionist at the Festival Theatre when Toronto had the Festival of Festivals, a prelude to TIFF. I have learned a great deal watching your videos. Thanks.

They were selling the posters when the store shut down. You will be able to find some on ebay though.
