Interesting. I was curious if there'd be any mention of the old Eastman Kodak distribution center in San Ramon, which (I think) used the branch for freight until the line closed. The warehouse had its own siding. For those unaware, Kodak had a huge building at the corner of Alcosta and Village Pkway at the San Ramon-Dublin boundary, where the Walmart neighborhood market and the houses and Village Green Park now stand, not to be confused with the long-disappeared 1960s-era Alcosta Mall, which was located across Village Pkwy. Kodak vacated the site circa 1986 or 87 and consolidated their distribution operations to the L.A. area. They maintained their former building; it was in an almost park-like setting, similar to Chevron Park but a single structure. It remained vacant for many years until its demolition to make way for the current shopping center and housing tract.

Outstanding presentation. Excellent local history work. Should be on NMRA and California Railroad Museum website.
