At least one good thing that came out of this store is they had a Jasper Walk-around that got sent to Wilmington alongside the Beta. It was so awesome getting to see him and Helen the last time I went before Wilmington closed.

THIS WAS my Chuck E. Cheese’s growing up I remember the animatronic never worked ever and one time it even had it’s head off on the floor in front of the bot with no covering what so ever, but it was always so empty I’m sure they didn’t care much LMAO my family started going to the Poughkeepsie location even though it was a drive

The fact that this location became as awful as it did as fast as it did is kind of impressive, really. I feel bad for the families that went to this location, though, especially if the poor kids saw the broken Chuck animatronic and got scared.

Here is a Thing, Even tho Lexington is a Corporate owned store, it is still one of the worse CECs back in the day but once 2.0 came, it improved the store.

@@ItzaRob the workers there were rude and the place was Very grubby and dusty, because of this, it was placed on Probation and have to temporarily close do to health inspection faliure. There was Mold in the ice machines, Old Manke food that haven't been thrown away, Unhigyniec practices, a toxic spray bottle on top of salad and there were cases of cockroaches, Raw sewerage and even rats. before asking. no Chuck e is not included because he is mouse and he is the mascot of the place

The lights were going off because something went wrong with the DVDs for the show. Maybe they have been damaged in shipping, who knows. However, 32 movement bots haven't been produced wayy before this particular store has even opened (Maybe around 2003?) because of the costs it took to make one, so Garner Holt reduced half of the movements for a cheaper price.

I’m aware this is a 16 movement bot, it doesn’t change the fact that the show was in bad shape. Maybe you’re right about the DVDs being damaged, though I’ve certainly never seen this kind of thing happen before on a show.

I actually remember seeing a picture of Danbury Connecticut’s Avenger Chuck Walkaround, I’m not really sure if Danbury used the Avenger Chuck Walkaround until they closed, or if they got the Rockstar Chuck Walkaround before they closed, I also remember hearing that Danbury had a Jasper Walkaround which was also sent to Wilmington after closure!

I thought another CEC location Chico, CA was considered to the the worst store especially in its later years where it gone fallen apart compared to how it used to be decent in the past back in the 80s/90s, but by comparison Danbury is even worse to how they treat an CEC store like that, especially for a location that only operated for 3 years.

The former Ahwatukee location in Arizona back in 2007 also had their show (Studio C Beta with a 32 movement bot) in horrible condition similar to Danbury. When I was at that location in May of 2007 it also had the lights going on and off randomly. The animatronics mouth didn’t move and some other movements were broken. A few months later when I went in October of 2007, the condition of the show was worse. Lights were still going crazy and the animatronics arms as well as some other movements didn’t work. The only movement that worked very well was the foot tap because that movement was disabled or broken prior to being enabled. I have some footage of that show on my channel. I don’t think a lot of games at that location were broken (I didn’t play the games that much most of the time because I was focused on the show in the showroom). That was the last time I went to the Ahwatukee location. Some footage that was uploaded later in the 2010s showed the show in better condition as it was fixed. That location closed down in late 2015 and is now an Ace Hardware store.

These claims were true, as a good friend of mine VISITED Danbury when it opened! Great example of poor franchisees. I would like to see a history video of the Warwick Chuck E Cheese, as it's had a history that includes 3 forced RELOCATIONS, had a unique show, and goes from unique history to standard history.

i actually went there a couple times as a kid for my friend’s birthday parties- and i vividly remember the place smelling like barf, the food not tasting much better, some of the games with circus-y sound effects were all distorted like some nightmare carnival, and probably a lot of other stuff that terrified mini me i also ordered a lemonade once and got a soda instead (i was pretty young and never drank soda, so the fizz was like acid to me lol) god i havent thought about that place in years

And other stuff, I've heard of some other locations that have bad problems, like the free stage Utah location that had mold in the backstage. But that doesn't even compare to this one, as there was not a lot of bad stuff there.

I should mention the pizza used in the video isn't of the location's own pizza (there's no photos of Danbury's pizza as far as I'm aware). I just searched up bad looking pizza (as multiple people did complain of the food being bad here) to use for that moment.
