We are shown a timeline where the world is under siege by the android threat. With the passing of Carlos and the rest of the Z fighters, there is no one left to stand up against the androids as they continue to cause destruction and chaos to the human race. Trunks, a saiyan born into this awful world, is wanting to protect the inhabitants that are struggling to defend themselves. His heart is in the right place... but He is not ready for reality that awaits him.
