It was a week before a 4 month patrol and I grabbed this and Dungeon Hunter. I beat this in a weekend and I was glad I had DH as a backup playing with other folks on the shop via ad-hoc

Great video as always! Please, keep going on thoses retrospectives. I played the game from PS+ and later I got a physical version. Great game. Except for those showcase controls the game plays pretty good.

I love the look of the game, the graphics are amazing for a handheld. I gave a gen2 version of the Vita, I can imagine what the game looks like on the original OLED screen.

Got a Vita in covid lockdown and this was my first game. Loved it! Even better with the native resolution patch and overclock homebrews. I bought the treasure map DLC and enjoyed hunting everything down. Almost beat it on 'crushing' difficulty except the touch controls in the final boss were too unreliable for me.

Love the Uncharted games but still yet to play 3, 4 and the spin off on PS4. Will have to do that soon. Maybe I'll start from the beginning again with the Vita one.

You should definitely play those games. They’re really good. Uncharted 2 is still my favourite in the series, but they’re all good

I know I'm in the minority, but this was my favorite title out of the first 3 main line "Uncharted" games, but I haven't played the last two. Nathan was always supposed to be a treasure hunter, but in each game, finding the hidden treasures throughout the games was an afterthought. In this game you wanted to find them all, as they added to each character in the game and their backstories. It made finding treasure that weren't pert of the main quest interesting to do and was all the better for it. While in the other games it was only to check a box for a collectible found, for 100% completion, but did nothing to add to the treasure hunting in general. Yeah, some of the gimmicky stuff I could have done without, but it didn't take away from the overall game, this is a handheld classic for the ages.

It's a shame that this game is trapped on the Vita. Good for us Vita gamers, but a shame that other gamers will never experience this chapter in the Uncharted series. Excellent game... despite the parts with gimmicky control stuff.

idk why ppl hated the vita features so much. i had no issue w/ those, especially seeing as to how this was my first Uncharted foray. my main complaint would be the stereotypes used throughout the storyline (villains/sidekicks)

Yeah it would be cool to see it on PS5 but it would have to be heavily reworked to take out all the touch and camera controls

I got this on day one of the vita. I had pre-ordered it and when it came to picking up my vita and game, HMV said they didn't have Golden Abyss in stock so they gave me FIFA instead. The next day they rang me up and said they had Golden Abyss back in stock and I could swap the game for FIFA, so I did. It was my first vita Plat.
