This is pretty well-produced, good pacing and lots of info conveyed without being overbearing. I think it really suits your style, well done.

Finally the first installment. I can't imagine the amount of research for this video alone but I'm impressed. Look forward to more.

Spacewar! also has a secret Steam app id that people use for testing or for running pirated games that require Steamworks DRM.

You know you're a middle aged video gaming addict when that picture appeared at 21:22 and you immediately call out "Nolan Bushnell!"

Very interesting video! Very well researched and put together. I learned a lot from it. I'd always thought Slug Russell's Space War was the first video game, because most computer history books state this, but you're right there were many that came before which were video games.

Ah! They missed a trick with the 'cathode ray amusement decive..' name. Stick in the word electronic to make it 'cathode ray electronic amusement device' and the acronym is CREAM! "I'm just off upstairs for a quick play on my CREAM ma!"

Why don't you feature other channels? Do some cross-promotion and build your viewerbase.

Because he has never been interested in subscriptions, metrics promotion and all that ad revenue marketing stuff. I like baller how he is: ballerscuba for enjoyment, light-hearted humour and a living Wikipedia
