As someone from Northampton, I can confirm the accent does matter as it's not correct at any single point in the whole damn show from her. The OBC recording is unlistenable to most Brits, it's just embarrassing. I literally just came to this video to see if it's as painful as the recording. Completely takes you away from the story. Her accent is like a REALLLLLLY bad London accent. If a show was based in deep Texas and a Brit actress turned up doing a horrific and OTT New Jersey accent you'd soon be complaining :')

So what I just got was in the beginning of the song “Women have been making bad choices since the beginning of time.” Like Adam and Eve how Eve ate the apple. Then at the end of the song she decides to make the “bad choice” of liking Charlie... and takes a bite of the apple. Nice.
