Bedrock Edition advantages: 1. You don't need high CPS while doing PvP 2. Bedrock bridging mechanics are easier than Java 3. You can play with others using In-game friendship system 4. Easier to use and make texture packs for it. 5. You can log into alt accounts for free. 6. Way easier to put custom skins 7. Cute 3D models in servers' lobbies And more. Disadvantages: 1. So many bugs 2. Big input delay for keyboard and mouse and controller 3. Less things comparing to Java Edition (like redstone mechanics, some commands and other stuff) 4. Not compatible with shaders packs (it's Render Dragon's fault, you can use shaders only if you have an RTX video card or use Better Render Dragon program with specific shader packs in specific versions of the game) 5. You can't downgrade versions (unless if you install by APK or use Bedrock Launcher, Onix Launcher) 6. It's hard to install the game in Windows (i don't know why but i had a big difficulty to install Minecraft by it's launcher or Microsoft store)

As a person who plays both bedrock and java, hive and hypixel are equally my favorite servers, I just play hive more cuz I’m more familiar with bedrock Another thing, skywars and bedwars and alot of other popular mini games are originated from java, other servers such as hive took inspiration off of them
