When you were talking about the "best ammo" thing, while it is true that M995 is probably the best 5.56 round in the game and the one you should use because of it's high penetration, it actually does less damage than the shittier rounds to unarmored targets, so sometimes Scavs can seem super tanky. Same applies to BS/Igolnik for 5.45.

This appears to be one of the most stressful games ever. Yet. I want it.
@HistoryMike865 жыл бұрын
I may need to try this then. Most of the reviews I saw made me thing twice a few weeks ago. Common view was that if you're unwilling to lose everything at a moments notice you probably shouldn't play the game. But, victory seems so satisfying. Watching acculite made me think so at least.

Juan C Salinas I’ve played for a while and the most important thing in tarkov is to know all the maps. If you know all the paths and shortcuts of a map, you can very easily predict where enemies will be and ambush them
@Counter-Chicken5 жыл бұрын
Can confirm, before I lost my gear fear I would be extremely stressed before and during raids, and by extremely stressed I mean I’d almost always be shaking, and the stress actually affected my GI tract. I’d say it took around 500 hours to lose gear fear, but even then I occasionally get little bouts of it even once in a while.

I hope you read this long comment lmao and I hope it helps with you on Escape From Tarkov in the future. So at 12:57 Aculite, when you said "I know my aim's bad, but what is that Scav made of?" "This is supposed to be one of the best ammos." That ammo is one of the best for Armor Penetration, and dealing damage through armor. It being so good at penetrating armor, it actually goes super clean through targets who have no armor, or have armor that is trash (PACA or 3M). Making it less effective than using crappy ammo like 855 or slightly better crappy ammos like 856A1 or 855A1 on Scavs or Players who have little or no armor. This is why I always carry around one 60 round mag of your normal 856A1 or maybe even 855A1 just for killing scavs because those ammos have decent enough Armor Penetration for stuff like Kirasas and whatnot, but the overall bullet damage is also higher than M995. I always make sure the 60 rounder that is set to be the next mag when I reload is ALWAYS loaded with M995 so when I run into a player that is armored up, I know I can just reload and immediately be set for actual PVP. Basically, the higher the Armor Penetration, the lower the Overall Damage of that bullet is. It's meant to actually deal some damage to heavily armored people, and not be completely ignored like if you used a bullet that has High Damage, but trash Armor Penetration. Also, the higher the Armor Penetration, the lower the chance of that round fragmenting and causing damage to other body parts is. This game's ammo system has quite a learning curve to it and quite the depth.
