I'm in a strange place with Kiliel. I like the pairing, and I like Tauriel, but I feel like she's only in the movie to create a love triangle between Kili and Legolas. I feel like the movies adds characters that the book did not just for the sake of romance...

And Philippa Boyens will SWEAR ITS NOT why they created Tauriel and that it's only because they needed a female character because it's a blokey film. Well, yeah. It is. There are a lot of dudes in this story. BUT ITS STILL A FUCKING GOOD STORY. They could have left it at Galadriel's bits, cuz it actually fits into the story. No offense to Evangeline, because I love her to pieces, and I think she did a wonderful job. But I think the character was highly unnecessary.

Smaug looks at dragon sized gold statue of Thorin's grandpa "D**N CAN YOU DO ONE OF ME NEXT?" he asks. They promptly turn said statue into a massive column of molten gold atop of Smaug. "I SAID A STATUE OF ME NOT GIVE ME A BATH!!!" Girl pops up next to Thorin and says "FIRE DOESN'T KILL A DRAGON!" Thorin:"Okay who let the mad girl in here?!" Smaug lunges out of the molten ore coating the floor. Thorin "Cue running music, lads!"
