I like the way he always avoids personal questions and manages to give away just the piece of information he wants to. He does it really in such a masterly manner. He does not want to speak about his parent, but I think he made them very proud.

Lovely to see him in an interview--its been a while! Richard is super private so it doesn't surprised he didn't say anything specific about his father. Nevertheless he answered very gracefully.

He gives the best interviews! I love to listen to him talk! He is so the opposite of Thorin in so many ways that you realize what a great actor this guy is! But yet it's almost like he was born to play this roll! It fits him so well! I am going to miss my dwarves soooo much after it all ends! Of course some more than others (Thorin, Fili, Bofur, and Kili, my hottie)!

I wouldn't say Just thoug. Smaug is an iconic character. And he also plays the necromancer. But al of that aside. All characters are played wonderfully by their actors and therefore I support every single one of them. Love to all of the cast! and everyone else who worked on the movies as well!

look at his hands when he thouht about his father, how nervous and uncomfortable, and he slow down like hes trying to think of a way to avoid. but when he took to thorin then he became much more smooth... he really don't want to talk'bout himself.

Ah! I'm so happy to see him in an interview again! Oh how he looks so beautiful! And yes, It's smart how he sorta dodged that awkward personal question by answering it on his own terms-not saying anything specific on his father but relating it to a general thing and always relating the question back to his character. His dedication and smart, graceful ways never seize to impress me amongst all his other amazing qualities and beauties!

god, i love this man ever since North and south, and was super excited when he got the role in Hobbit which is a huge project...and yes, it is a shame he gets just a tiny bit of attention, and it is surprising because he practicaly plays the main character (besides Bilbo, i'd say), and not many fans are interested in him nearly as much as in idk, Benedict, Orlando,Martin or Evangeline. but that's probably partly because he really is a private person, and not one of those to show around, goof of, being funny all the time and stuff. amazing actor :D

I just returned from cinema (my second time for Hobbit 2) and was thinking the same thing. He is perfect in this role! I couldnt imagine Thorin being portrayed in better (or different) way. But I guess you could say this about all cast members and thats also huge part of why people like these movies so much (LOTR including) - because they are excelently casted.

In the beginning, I thought that maybe I'd be impressed by Richard Armitage when I saw him in The Hobbit, because I didn't know him much, and saw how he looked. Before, honestly I thought he looked good. But after seeing some things on how he is, especially his other movies he's been in, I don't think I find myself as impressed as I used to be. If anything, I'm disappointed now. I guess after all that his appearance turned out to be the only thing about him that somehow seemed to impress me, and I'll definitely try to move on from my past, whether I'm impressed or not.

Everyone's different, and so am I, though I may seem completely different and akward to so many people here. But the truth is I have my opinions and feelings here and there. Maybe someday, I may change my mind and like Richard Armitage for several things and reasons, or maybe if I'm still down or a little upset with him for the same or different certain things and don't change much or change yet, I'll try my best to eventually forget it and him or move on. When I have a strong feeling or thought about something, especially about Richard, I let it out when I want and choose to, so someday if and when I want to, I can let it go, instead of holding it all back and continuing forever on seemingly to be mad about it. My comments are no intention to pull any fans away from him, but of my intention to express my feelings if I want to. Anyone who has or does respond back to me like they hate me for my opinions as if I were trying to hurt their feelings and assumes that I mean to talk like I've been abused when I really never mentioned being abused at all, are mean people who seem to hate me with total misunderstanding and assumption, and I think it's getting to be time that I need to stop responding back and letting those people get to me too easily, cause they obviously will never understand what I mean and that I can eventually come around. All those people who hate me are cruel, sudden-minded, stupid, terrible, and also negative people. Although, if I met Richard in person, I think I'll try to be nice to him, cause now I'd admit, I don't dislike him for every single thing. I'll try to not be so mean to him like I said I would do, except, if he were to upset me, I'll probably resist as much as I can and walk away.

I've mentioned my thoughts and feelings on another video and might write some more cause I was too afraid to admit it in the past and am still feeling and thinking a little that way now also. So far still, seeing him makes me feel down and uncomfortable. I barely see much of anything to make me feel happy about him. The only thing I know that made me happy was only his looks and deep voice. It's like I was and still am feeling like I don't ever want to hear him and of his name or see his face again! And maybe I will or will not get there someday, which depends on how I feel later or if I might change or not. That's how angry I am and was, and to let it out for some reason makes me feel a little better, that way I don't keep all my anger, especially of him hidden inside of me. So far, I'm not really so kind about him because I don't feel enough kindness from him as I see him in the videos. Maybe if he were to intentionally be a really nice person like I once thought he was, then I may be nice about him. But as I see, people only like him so much mostly cause he looks good and can talk really good on the outside, but maybe what he means they don't understand. Like I say, how can I like someone I don't truly enough know or understand? And besides, since I'm so easily emotional, I have reasons not to like him. I don't get why everyone likes him and me myself not liking him for several reasons is so bad just because I don't think the same way like all the others who love him so much!

Kayla Montanez this is so juvenile and childish I cannot even believe that you are still employed by this company. If those are your feelings about this man that's fine but to publicly persecute him for practically nothing is as I described earlier. The best part of this *for me* is that I used to be like you and I would have fought everything to get my point across and have it known at every chance - for nothing. All that anger and hostility you hold for him is only upsetting you in the long run and when people talk about "just letting it go" it's not cuz they don't care but because they know there is no point in putting in that much negative energy into someone so inconsequential. Think about it, how you feel about this man he completely does not matter to your day-to-day life. I am positive that you can go to your boss and ask them to never do another interview with him ever again and that's will be the end of it if you want it. If you don't then you'll continue to be an abrasive bitch who everyone gets automatically defensive with because the way you come off is extremely aggressive and pretentious. It's in your facial expressions, body language and the emphasis on the way you speak down to someone you have resentment towards. Normally right now I would say that I wasn't saying this for me I was saying it for you, because you're the one who has to go on and live with yourself, but I got a lot out of this so I can't say that with absolute truth. Whether you appreciate what I have said or not I feel really good about trying to pass on what I have learned to someone who is making the same mistakes I did years ago. Nothing was a dig, I was just trying to focus your view on your mirror. Here's a dig, saying someone "speaks good" is nails on a chalkboard horrendous, the word to describe someone who can converse well is eloquent. Me or others speaking eloquently does not equal us being pretentious cunts, that's just us not wanting to sound like a fucking dumbass iq of 91 fucktards, savvy?

If I'm not a fan, why would I have one or steal from him in the first place?!!! Stop coming up with b******* to ask or say to me!!!!! You ought to realize if I don't like Richard Armitage, I obviously wouldn't want anything to do with his stuff!!!! Besides, if I were to steal from him, I would have had to have met him and loved him bad enough like a huge fan long ago before now, which I never have!!
