Easily one of the best. I think second best is the Eastern dragon in Shang-Chi primarily on the design as we didnt get much character from it compared to Smaug.

Just to make you realise how dragons in middle earth are dangerous, Smaug is one of the smallest ones 😂. The biggest was three mountains tall.

To your question at 3:32 how Gandalf knows everything, the dude is an angel of sorts in the universe of Middle Earth sent by the creator himself to assist, support and push the good peoples of the world to fight Sauron's return. He's been around in this world for millenias I think, so yeah thats why he knows so much

12:45 most of Lord of the rings and the hobbit was filmed with practical effects/not cgi and half of the places you see in the movies are real places in New Zealand. They actually put the actors in barrels and sent them down the river. They’ve got super good behind the scenes for all of the movies. Peter Jackson (the director) is the actual GOAT!

Smaug is one of the best dragons on screen and one of the smartest. You mentioned Game of Thrones, there have been many arguments on who would win if Smaug and Drogon fought. My opinion Smaug would win not only because of size but also intelligence and the fact Smaug has more battle experience. Now he is one of the smaller dragons and 24:24 the dragons were created by the villains, the biggest was Ancalagon the black really wish we got a live action version of him. 19:40 I hope that was a joke. Dumbledore was played by Richard Harris, Michael Gambon, and Jude Law. Gandalf is played by Sir Ian McKellen.

It's actually not even close. This iteration of smaug smashes basically every dragon in game of thrones effortlessly. The only one that has some debate is balerion the black dread. But even still smaug has thousands of years worth of intelligence and has a level sentience that balerion doesn't have. And you may already know this but smaug is actually one of youngest and smallest dragons in the Tolkien verse.

That’s the same reaction I have and everyone at the movies when the screen fade to the ending of the movie and the audience goes whaaaat?😮, and we have to wait till the next one to come. This was a good 👍 movie, and now we go to The Battle Of The Five Armies, and glad that Luke Evans took part in the Hobbit trilogy, and happy to see Orlando Bloom reprise his role as Legolas.
