That "skin" on the ribs is called silverskin and its supposed to be removed before cooking. It's connective tissue. Glad they didn't make you eat it! Great job, Katina! #teamKandy 🤣

Depends on the person on trimming or not due to length of time cooked it comes off easily after cooking anyway so unnecessary to remove before

I think it's a matter of preference. Sure, you can watch KZbin videos all day long, explaining how they remove that silver skin. Doesn't exactly make it necessary to do so. Some say to remove it because you won't be eating it, others say it helps hold in moisture depending on how you prepare the ribs. Who knows? I've had them both ways and I kind of chalk it up to this: Peeled shrimp cocktail is always easier and better tasting to me. If you handed me a big plate of jumbo shrimp cocktail that I had to peel myself, I would NOT complain!
