When you were talking about getting someone a film camera it made me think of Paper Shoot. They make film type cameras that are way more convenient than an actual film camera. They don’t use film, they use an SD card. But there’s no screen, they’re very simply made. And that kind of anticipation of what the photos will look like is reminiscent of a film camera.

I recommend giving kids while they're young - educational books that's meant for them. It may not be as fun as most toys and gadgets but you offer alot in terms of exposing them to literature while young, especially if you make it more fun and engaging (their own *personalised childrens books* )
