The Holiday Inn Vlog - (1.11.24) - FL: Day 2

Hello Hello!
We are back with more of the Florida vlogs, baby! So sorry for the delay between videos - work has been crazy recently, haha.
Today we attempt to head on our way from Savannah, Georgia to Tampa, Florida. Before we can even leave Savannah, we get a notification from the car that one of the tires has low tire pressure. Since we are already stopping to get gas, we figure we'll take a look at it and use the kit in Jenna's trunk to pump it up to what it should be. In a twist of events, Jenna somehow manages to lower the pressure instead.
We decide to drive to a nearby Autozone to get a tire pressure gauge that can clearly tell us what the pressure is in each wheel, as the car doesn't specify which one even had the problem to begin with. We then swing by another gas station (one with a working air pump this time), and I take a crack at pumping up the tires. We have success and are finally able to hit the road again!
Not too long later, we see the signs that we have entered Florida - woohoo! We celebrate by stopping to eat at a Zaxby's that definitely was not where Google Maps claimed it would be. Seriously, the map took us to a part of the road with NOTHING on it and said we had arrived. We had given up and kept driving toward Tampa when miles later, we happened to pass the Zaxby's that Google had failed to guide us to!
Jenna tried Zaxby's for the first time, but didn't seem very impressed with the fried pickles, nor the Zax Sauce. She later did not feel well, and ended up having digestive issues because of the food.
Hours later, we finally arrived to the Holiday Inn we had randomly chosen while eating at Zaxby's. It was quite nice for a decent price. We do a room tour, check for bed bugs, test the beds' comfortability, and Jenna goes to sleep while I recap the day up to this point. I show off the nail colour I decided on for the wedding, and finally go to sleep.

Isn’t Spanish moss so pretty?! There’s so much of it in Florida, but it’s not invasive. I don’t know why I thought Zaxby’s was a regional thing only found in the South, lol. I did a Google Maps search and now I see there are many in Virginia… oops. I wonder how long they’ve been around this area! Fried pickles are pretty good, but nothing beats a regular dill pickle (the polish ones, especially).

Haha, they are indeed from the ice cream store in Findlay, Ohio! I have legitimately been switching off between wearing this sweatshirt and the one we got at the end of this trip (maroon one that says TAMPA) for so long that I think people are getting concerned. They’re just both so soft and cozy! 🧥
