@starsaint Жыл бұрын
I imagine back in the 2000s when editing was more specialized and less common, owning a company that partnered with the major studios could earn you much more than the average editor now. Also it is a film, directed by Nancy Meyers, who's known for the beautiful houses, skillful lighting, and having the houses flesh out the mood of the film and the characters' lives. Not known so much for documentaries.

As you mature you realize her boyfriend had a point. She might be loyal but she's emotionally closed off. There's only that much you can get out of her emotionally and it's inadequate in a relationship. She's ok with things ending because her parents' marriage ended. And that's a sad way of looking at life. When she finally cries in the end she knows it too what she was incapable of giving to a relationship before she truly fell in love! ❤
@Winskl9010 Жыл бұрын
Doesn’t justify him cheating on her, and his behavior and personality could be a contributing factor as to why she could never let down her guard or be fully vulnerable with him the way she was with Graham
@luckyme0888 Жыл бұрын
@@Winskl9010 cheating is not decent at all and should not be accepted as a response to what's lacking in a regular relationship. I agree with you. What I meant was they're both imperfect! In this situation he alone can't be blamed. She couldn't relate to him because of her emotional block after her father moved out. She liked Graham because he had daughters and was a single parent. He addressed her 'daddy issues' psychologically. Both Iris and Amanda, also Miles were still evolving as people.
