The Hollies - The Air That I Breathe | Reaction!

After watching the new movie, "Heretic," i had to react to this song. This track is a huge part of the film. I can't believe that I've never done a Hollies video before today. The opening guitar part alone is enough to make you melt. Plus, Allan Clarke's soaring vocals are beautiful. It's a straightforward ballad about the power of love.

Pretty much a perfect song, the short guitar solos 2:46 and 3:55 elevate the song even higher.

I have a soft spot for three eras of music. The 60s British Invasion. The 80s British New Wave Invasion. The 90s Madchester/Baggy/Britpop Invasion. I know this particular song came out in the early 70s, but I equate The Hollies with the 60s British bands. It’s a timeless classic rendition. Have you ever reacted to The Moody Blues “Nights in White Satin” or Procol Harum “Whiter Shade of Pale”? You wanna talk about god-tier singles that transcended the bands and became timeless classics…wait, did you just say “orgasmic”? Naughty Nicky…I love it.

Absolute classic, Herman’s Hermits are another class Manc act. No Milk Today is one I encourage anyone to check out if you’ve not already heard the beauty of such a Northern love song. 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
