Even though we accept Jesus, does not mean we cannot sin again. The devil will still do all he can to have us sin again. We need to continually repent and not do those things that lead us away from Christ. We need to do all we can, to have the Holy Spirit with us. To listen to that still small voice, so that we can have the Spirit with us. We have a spirit (soul) that lives in our physical body. Confessing our sins does not make us saved. We need to repent, which is confessing our sins, changing our ways and stop doing those things that are wrong and be baptized by the proper authorities and receive the Holy Ghost in our lives. God is a God of order.
