1. Veronica is not a Jewish name. It originated in the 11th century when Byzantine iconagraphers sold "true icons" (vera iconica) of the Mandylion to the West. 2. the Manoppello image cannot be a representation of Jesus' face as he carried his cross because it has no wounds or blood from the crown of thorns and no marks of the assaults that the Romans infilcted on Jesus. 3. The Manoppello image has the appearance of a medieval art work. 4. The Manoppello image does not match the facial image found on the Shroud. 5. In 1978 the images on the Shroud were investigated by a team of 24 scientists who made use of four tons of equipment over a five day period. No such testing has ever been allowed on the Manoppello. 6. The Manoppello image in not of miraculous origin as are the Shroud's images. It is a painting or watercolor on a transparent fabric, perhaps based on a Mandylion icon.

​@@LosPeregrinosdeCamino that wouldn't really matter, no offense to anyone's faith or Religious beliefs but it's clearly a Work of Art drawing/ painting or similar to the Shroud of Turin medieval type of Photography or image transfer techniques. The image on that cloth doesn't even look like a Real Human face !! It looks more like a Painting/ Drawing of the White European image. Why does the face look completely different from the image on the Shroud of Turin ? Faith can be Blind and easily manipulated by Charlatans who are misleading the flock of gullible Sheep who will believe anything they're told .Science is truth ,whether you believe it or not !!! The Vatican / Catholic church seems to only be interested in Profits and Money !!! $$$ .😥😥

From the science point of view, its an image that was not likely made by a human hand. if u cant support your argument with hard facts on the point of science, then youre right youre also entitled to your own disbelief and opinion just like your argument LOL. Most if not all of those Religious Relics aren't thoroughly Tested by any leading Scientists who are experts in that field of Testing Artifacts with the latest technology. Why doesn't the Vatican or the Catholic church that have any of those Religious Relics submit them to rigorous scientific testing to prove or disprove, once and for all ? Any fake or fraudulent Religious Relics that anyone has in their possession would be extremely afraid of any Scientific analysis !!! Have it all Tested,why not if they have nothing to hide ? I'm always skeptical about anything not proven by Rigorous analysis and the scientific evidence and facts. Blind faith is contrary to Reality unless you have Is irrefutable scientific evidence that every scientist can agree upon. Just ask Neil DeGrasse Tyson or any Respected Scientist. If any of those Relics are Authentic, that would be Beautiful. We cannot hide or avoid the Ultimate Truth of modern Science. If they're ever in error or wrong, they'll correct & update their findings. Physical Material Objects have no real Power, it's not alive or Organic. It's Artificial. Religious Relics have no Power. The Power of suggestion, coincidence, random chaotic reality. If a Person had enough faith in Prayer and they are so Blessed by a Miracle, it's through the living person with God and not through any Dead lifeless objects !!! My Common sense tells me that Religion Relics are only to Reinforce the Vatican's Power, control to make Profit for money making Business. Sorry If I disagree with you. I would welcome being proven wrong. Miracles do happen but by a person's faith & Love in righteousness and the Lord . God Bless you. BTW , if I were Wealthy enough to Travel to those Countries I would Love to visit.
