I enjoyed hearing your answers. I told someone else on this tag that I don't think I've truly lied about reading a book. In university, I didn't read all of the books. But I also never claimed that I had. And if my teacher asked me, I was honest.

I'm so glad you did this tag. I take it the favored video by the platform was the one with tolkien in the thumbnail? If so, I purposely avoided it because of that. LOL I don't mind if people leave comments that disagree with a book, but they usually attack me personally, instead of staying focused on the book. Scratch out is so relaxing. I haven't seen it in a long time. Did you finish the goldfish?

I haven't read Potter either, but the controversy is fake and blown out of proportion. All because someone has an 'opinion'. Pathetic times we live in.

Your video is GORGEOUS considering it is RAPID FIRE. How in the world do you do it???? I was naked and sitting on the porcelain throne with a laptop balanced on my bare groin when the notification from Heather popped up, so I just thought to myself 'go for it' and immediately recorded mine. I only left it up for a few hours before thinking better of it and deleting. ... But it was my answers that gave me pause, not the setting. OK, here is a summary: 1) NO never, not even when I was a kid - I was a proud straight F student and was proud to tell the teacher NO I did not read your stupid assignment. Then I told stories about getting hauled off to the principal and flunking a grade and being a general juvenile delinquent. oooofff ouch 2) NO but I will never read a book by a politician just because I would rather go down to the stables and swallow my horse**** straight. But I have avoided making book review videos to avoid controversy. I named a few books, and began thinking screw it I should just record those videos, share my unpopular opinions on them and embrace the controversy! 3) NO but I have unwrapped gift books from viewers on camera. 4) YES often 5) NO never 6) YES my older videos especially got a lot of hate comments and I do sometimes engage just for the giggles. I usually just delete hate comments, but if your insult is clever and makes me laugh I will pin it to the top. I am not offended by hate comments and they do not bother me, and frankly sometimes they make me laugh. That kind of silly social media stuff does not affect me. I mean look at me, I am 60, naked and recording this on a toilet. Do you really think a 'you suck!' will bother me? 7) My response to this was about 30 seconds of uproarous laughter. 8) NO.. I would not change a thing, but I made my first video 15 years ago ... I would probably not have done the push up challenge videos I recorded about 4 years ago - they cost me several hundred subscribers HAHA. Amazing I ALSO mentioned my old blog. Yeah, those are not as popular as they once were, my articles used to get thousands of readers. 9) WoW amazing - I ALSO MENTIONED HEATHER as someone I wish I could be more like. I did her presentation format for a while, like you said, but it is more her delivery that I so much admire and wish I could do. I hate editing, so I try to get everything out on the first run and I occassionally stumble over my words, but I honestly cannot tell the difference between her scripted and unscripted videos. She is SO SMOOTH and I am so envious of her skills. But there are tons of others, including yourself!! 10) I had no answer to this. I am not embarrassed to record a video while relieving myself, but I am embarrassed to talk about how much I love my own stupid channel. EDIT: after watching HEather's response and her pride in her Middlemarch Meditations, I will just say here that I LOVE my George Eliot series, my Charles Darwin series and my Richard Bauckham series - I worked very hard on all of those, I got tons of engagement with all of them, and I think they are thoroughly unique on KZbin. And yes, I also agree with Heather that all the research and all the prep that I put into those was an actual part of the reading. So there! 11) No TAGS. I flush toilet. fin Many of my responses are very similar to yours, but your delivery as always is amazing. Your channel remains one of my favorites - thank you again.

Thanks Joseph, that's very kind! It's been a while since I made a video, so maybe I was just feeling inspired. I definitely got the Rapid Fire idea from you, though! Always enjoy your videos on George Eliot, plus literature from the Philippines, and trail running. Your candid style is a lot of fun, and not knowing exactly when you're taking it down makes me pay extra attention. XD
