I have finally found “the golden nugget” of Advaita Vedanta teachings. Survival is how we make our lives better, if not surviving now; then life is sweet. Empty of the survival requirements. A sweet empty life is somehow a strange thing to seek after. The self is the reason for the known and unknown aspects of reality. 4. All entities and phenomena are interconnected. 5. Both the dream state and wakeful state are considered illusory. 6. The dream state reveals the illusory nature of perceived reality. 7. The wakeful state is subject to the play of appearances and is illusory. 8. Examples highlight the transient and deceptive nature of perceived reality. 9. Neurophysiological differences and conscious experiences do not negate the illusory nature of both states. 10. Both the dream state and wakeful state are equally unreal, inviting exploration of the unchanging essence of awareness. Please note that these bullet points are a condensed summary and may not capture all the nuances and depth of the reasoning provided. Summary of Reasoning: 1. The self is the source of true and lasting happiness, independent of external circumstances. 2. Consciousness plays a fundamental role in the measurement and manifestation of physical phenomena. 3. In ancient texts like Mahabharata, different Darshanas like Saankhya, Yoga, Meemaamsa and Vedanta are included and interwoven. Modern Vedantins speak as if Vedanta is totally separate and other Darshanas should be ignored or suppressed. 🙏🏽

another amazing session..swami also talks about suicide :@ 35:00 something.. he talks in the persepective of proving we ourselves are the source of happiness and that he has proved but he did not really talk about suicide in detail although my interpretation after hearing swami is that since we ourselves are the source of happiness.. after realizing that we are brahman.. we can just relocate to the hills or the forest to spend time with ourselves abadoning all the problems that causes us to be suicidal in the first place.. which basically means to flee.. hmm...
