Art is a tool to build and celebrate community. Rich Alapack, founder of We All Live Here joins The Honeycomb Project for the Premier of We All Live Here Wednesdays, a weekly series featuring interviews of Chicago area artists. Tune in weekly to hear the artists' stories and learn about artistic techniques that you can explore at home!
To kick us off, Rich teaches us how families can share their gratitude for essential workers through public art using the Chicago Font and chalk! Creating public mantras like "We All Live Here" helps us spread important messages, show our gratitude, and celebrate our city through communal art.
Please remember to adhere to social distancing and wear a mask while creating!
Donations raised from this broadcast will support The Honeycomb Project’s Honeycomb at Home initiative, keeping families connected to our Chicago community while staying at home. Text “HONEYCOMB” to 44-321 to make a donation.
