how interesting, was unaware. it all rings familiar somehow. kinda reminds me of the old British show the Prisoner, a covert character finding himself held in a special quarantine island and he's unsure why and unaccepting of it. it reminds me of other films where a cop or detective makes an involuntary one way trip to some island he's sent to investigate. I wonder if there are interplanetary or interdimensional spies. I guess if earth angels actually exist, that would be their purpose, to test the people. reminds me of a song...the firewatcher's daughter

Yes, as I've been reading the George Smiley novels, I've noticed that they do often feel a touch familiar. Must be all those spy shows I watched on TV in the 80s as a kid...perhaps the creators were cribbing from John Le Carre once and a while?

@ They really are fantastic. Not sure how they worked them into the budget back in 1977…I don’t believe Tinker Tailor or Smiley’s People had such an add-on in the design. There is a nice scan of them at this website if you’d like a closer look: www.existentialennui.com/2011/09/honourable-schoolboy-by-john-le-carre.html

I don't, sorry. Just the single issues and TPB. But maybe I need to look at upgrading to something better...those single issues just give me such a nostalgia hug!
