Love those OKASHIRA SCREWHEAD with a 3 in spark shad. Caught some largemouth but noticed It catches more smallmouth. Seems the smallmouth smash them more. 👊🏼

Blade baits are super underrated. Treat it like a heavy Lipless and you be fine. Btw if it has multiple holes for snaps the rule goes as follows: front hole=subtle wobble,middle hole=moderate wobble,back hole=aggressive wobble. Basically further back the hole have more action. But I think the front and middle get the most use for me. 99% of the time it’s the middle hole. Which is generally what the single hole is on most blade baits. Another killer bait you should try are tailspins! Or even tail spin blade baits like the 10000 fish death stalker.

The okashira screw heads are pretty cool. If you look at the blades of the okashira one is bigger then the other. This causes the bait to vibrate when retrieved. As far as blade baits the damiki vault is my go to but im jugging them in deeper clear water.

Seems you are serious about change :) The blade bait was THE surprise for me in fall. When nothing worked, this bait got them (European perch, I fish in Germany). As you are a crank bait guy…..you have to try the OSP range (Tiny Blitz, Blitz, Blitz XD etc.) of cranks. From all I have fished so far the OSP are the best. I can't get a lot from there because it's all pricey but I did get a couple gift cards for myself from there recent sale so I could get 20% off megabass stuff that never goes on sale. I did get two of the blade baits as well as a couple magdraft swimbaits for fun. I do see I should have picked up a couple of the second brand vibrating lures you bought. The Okashira Screw Head does awesome on a 3" Spark Shad. Thank you for diving into JDM. Those Uoze Swimmers are nice swim jigs. Keitechs do great on them as do Largo Shad. I prefer Largos. Good luck! I want to challenge you to buy a Shimano Antares and a J. Loomis NRX+ 854C JWR. Trade up and fish the nicest most sought after rod and reel. $1100 fishing that muddy water. You'll love this set up.

Damiki Vault is great but change the hooks. The OSP Override is my favorite love the hooks on them only a double hook instead of treble but they cove through stuff way better and don't get caught up near as much.
