They mean the type of youtubers that say they did mining off camera and clearly just cheated to get a bunch of stuff instead of grinding for it. Drowned will only leave the water at night. During day time they will stay in the water. You should test to see if Willie get's out of the lake when someone's down there at night.

Could be an interesting twist on the 'Difficulty Settings' side of the game... Scores logged seperately for a Day Run or a Night Run... Depends on the AI of the Drowned vs Level Design of the lake "biome".

I was thinking the same, I LOVE False's design but all of the intricate bits are below the portal, which are covered when you're standing on the walkway or in the Great Hall.. the only thing you see is the rectangular portal I love the design though, and I think maybe even just some ice at the top of the portal would help a ton!!

In order for it to work, nobody but Tango can see it. If it's seen, then it kinda breaks the terror, especially for the heavy players. There's only so many ways you can line up that area within that space and make it good with the content he had planed for level 4.

The portal platform looks awesome. The portal frame looks awful by comparison. Maybe add some obsidian around the portal frame to round it off so it's not a big rectangle in the middle of all those graceful curves and spikes. Or see if Doc can roundificate it a little.

a note for you about the drowned: I believe that drowned will actually leave the water to chase players if it's nighttime, but not in daytime. Of course, once they de-aggro they'll pathfind their way back to the closest water source, but just in case you should probably make sure that there are no other water sources nearby so the drowned doesn't get stuck in there.

having recently been shambled after by drowned on a riverbank at night, can confirm yes drowned will leave the water at night to chase players. if they lose aggro they kind of just gurgle around a little in place for a bit then eventually pathfind back to the nearest water.

Suggestion for an item for the shop: Item frames that players can take into the dungeon. They could be used anywhere to stash important items for next runs, so if you got the artifact but getting out seems unlikely, you could stash it somewhere and retrieve it when luck is on your side. Or maybe you find an item for a side activity you wish to keep for another run. Importantly, all hermits are allowed, even encouraged, to loot such staches. This way they must be hidden, preferably in dangerous places where nobody goes snooping.

The sheer dedication to one project is admirable and incredible and even with DO2 not quite finished just yet I’m still in utter awe of how far it’s come along and the countless hours poured into it. 11:00 actually learned a bit about how the AI works for them by watching one of Grian's videos from season 6 of when the trident holding Drowned from the trident shop was throwing tridents at Grian when it was night while he was building the "You Lazy Sod Cart". So the Drowned will throw tridents at players regardless of time if the player is in water or rain but during the day if the player is not in water or rain the Drowned will ignore the player
