TheBushdoctor68 Yes, it is ridiculous. It is their duty to act if they see a violation of the law, they MUST do something, not just when a complaint is filed... Hungarian police is not better at all. Me and my friend once saw two robbers was backing up to a bicycle holder at the train station with a van. They got out (at broad daylight!!!!) opened the van's back door, took out some bolt cutters, and started to cut the locks off of the bikes systhematically, and was throwing the bicycles inside the van one by one. I called the police, and the dispatcher said "we won't send anybody, because only the owner can file a complaint about their property". There were consequences, we got that man fired later, the case was on court as well. But I was stunned when I heard this answer. I asked him on the phone, that what kind of bullshit is this? If I see someone is getting raped, than I call a police, they only come if I give the phone to the raped to let him/her to report it?????

The Russian police system is so foreign to me or just laziness on their part. Regular police cant act against vehicle issues even accidents. Only the traffic police? Seems really off

Ramirez I used to do campus traffic enforcement, I'd be stoked to see anything like what's in stop's videos. That's easily thousands of dollars in tickets written as fast as you can - bonus pay territory. If they pay and write it off as a minor inconvenience, then give them a ticket every single day. If they don't pay, you keep writing, get out the boots, or start towing. People will always pay eventually and it can easily justify your salary.

@@GrumpysWorkshop They should just make the ticket 10 times what it is today, and begin enforcing the rules. Could even start booting/clamping vehicles to make sure they paid. The extra money they would get in fines, would easily pay the salary of extra police officers to do this.
