There's a chat between Lilia and Sebek speaking about this type of potions, about how the 3 fearies transform themselves into human form to take care of baby Aurora, and Sebek mention that, in orden to do that, he have to take nasty potion to change his looks. But Lilia say he like the taste of that... So he openly say that he have take transmutation potion at least ones, and we all know that Lilia is older than he really looks. So maybe he is taking potions too to maintain his juvenile look

There is also one more easy theory being left out. All of the students are trying to become stronger mages, this includes Sam who's a member of the faculty. It could be that Crowley is actually a top transmutation potion maker and A) is using the vacations to test out new more powerful potions and sizes B) is regularly transforming into a crow to watch over the students with the INTENT to make as many overblot as possible C) is trying to make a whole new powerful form that could dormat a dragon - which is why Grim turns into a monster in the end. Grim is the easiest test subject since no family and his body is built to monster specs already. Grim might even be a future sacrifice for this Transmutation endeavor. D) or he's just trying to fill some sort of collectors badge and be able to transform into as many different forms as possible.

I mean didn't he get arrested in ch6 because they do mention Crowley being under interrogation during that chapter , and I've always been wondering wtf did this sus man do to get interrogated not just that but isn't the plot of fairy gala him making his students steal from the fairys i mean man is really sus

Idk if he was actually arrested, but I do know he was being questioned and having to explain a lot of stuff to at least the parents. Tbh I was so fed up with chapter 6 I ended up skipping a lot of story and just haven't gone back and read it.

I have a theory: The reason he has access to transformation potions is for the purpose of his job, which is the head mage of a prestigious magic school. Rather than having to go to the trouble of getting a water breathing potion or trying to come off as friendly to certain parents of certain beast students, a transformation potion would be a catch-all. Need to go underwater? Transform to have gills. Need to meet parents that are hard to please but they have no idea what you look, like let alone your own species? Transform to be like them. That said though, he definitely has shown many an example of how he could abuse the potions. But it does raise questions; How many does he have? Are they a limited supply every month? Or are they limitless? Does he just have access to the ingredients and he makes them himself? We don't know how restrictive the school funding is as well as the education board in regards to magical school supplies. AKA, potion ingredients for students. That could very easily be used by teachers and faculty. And I'm going to stop my train here before I go winding any further 😅 I do believe that Crowley is really suspicious for having that kind of access. But then again, he also has access to so many other magical artifacts that it makes me wonder what this man has done in the past.

There had been theories that Crowley is always in a overblotted state of somekind so like, what if he's chugging down transmutation potions to hide that? 🤔 Either way you said like making people paranoid and you have succeeded good job 😐👏

Ok, hear me out but... Grim. I think Crowley is going to or has already used one on Grim (whether benevolently or maliciously) and beyond the fact that we isekai'd and took Grim's spot as a student he's not human etc. for a reason. I think Crowley cursed him or used a potion on him that or he changed because of the mix up with the mirror bringing us in his place and so he uses one to fix Grim maybe? I could also see the "Crowley has been overblot or trying to cause overblots etc. The entire time theory." But like I really think he's part of why the grim monster is a thing

Spoiler of chapter 6! . . . . . If I am correct, I think when Azul and Riddle were paired up in chapter 6, Azul mentioned that a filantropo organization exists to give access to merfolk to the land, and they use the potions there. So I don’t think it would be to much trouble for Crowley picking some there Also I think maybe Crowley took potions and disguised him as something we wouldn’t notice in the scenario, such as a crow (hence his name being Crowley). Anyways, I wouldn’t have realized that if you haven’t pointed it out, thank you and amazing video!

I could be wrong, but it wouldn't surprise me if the reason they are forbidden to be used or make on school grounds by students is, because you need a license to make them or use them. Another speculation could be that Merfolk and beastmen might get a pass as well, since maybe they have different laws about it from there race. After all we know the merfolk have a king and prince from chapter 3, and Leona is a prince to the beastmen. So it could be flexible about it, and the humans stay out of it, since it's none of there business how these two races laws work in there world. And lastly. Since you pointed this out I am wondering this. I know people are going to have overblot questions, but nah. I'm not them. What I am wondering is this. Crowley has such a huge theming of snow white about him, that it wouldn't shock me if he was the evil queen using these potions but in reversed. If you have no idea what I mean then let me explain. In the movie the evil queen in snow white uses a potion to turn old so she can trick snow white into eating a deadly apple. So by the reverse logic that would mean Crowley is using or maybe making them to keep his youth, and if that is the case. How deep dose that go? -Dose that mean Crowley is in fact the oldest person in twisted wonderland? (I mean I thought so but damn! Proof right there.) -Since Crowley could be fully fea dose that mean we are going to get more info on them? And if so will it also explain why Lilia is taking the form of a teenager as well? -lastly if we are taken these two factors I said and the race's with there own laws. Could that mean that feas also have there own laws about them? After all the students do not know much about the feas, and only the feas know about each other. So it could be safe to say that is also a factor that plays in on it. My mind is running wild now. Stopping there. I think I made my point across in everything I can think about.

Someone put a theory up on tumblr saying that Crowley may be the crow from Snow White or just the crow featured doing the bidding of The Disney Villians. Eg. Maleficent.

Ever since someone mentioned Crowley might be the 'crow' to a much higher being (the crow for Maleficent or Evil Queen), I think he's some kind of familiar taking those transmutation potions (in the live action Maleficent, she transformed a crow into a man so 👀). Since he was appointed his position at NRC and his features are too bird-like compared to another bird beastman, I think he's a frontman for someone else. I'm on EN Book7 atm so who knows lol

personally i think we're forgetting something for this... jack transformed into a large and dangerous creature. i always thought that would be illegal for the matter of 1; it makes someone notably more dangerous [as opposed to a human transformation or the ghostly one especially if the ghost form is more restricted then actual ghost-life] and 2; if done poorly it might have side effects like "woops you have the mind of the animal you transformed into, sorry for accidentally lobotomizing ya!". as such jack's transformation would be illegal in potion form but not in UM form [I will point out: leona assumed it should have been illegal even though he could clearly see jack transformed into the animal associated with his own therian type and could probably recognize the things you pointed out so that stuff would not be the deciding factor of legality here]
