I grew up in West Central Minnesota with a horse chestnut tree. We had two. Neighbors 3 miles away had one. They were fun. They're all dead from a blight now.

Conkers repel spiders, my friend told me, so, I placed conkers on the starboard side of my sailing boat, and sure enough I only had spiders on the port side. When I told this to another friend, he said it was because a conker looks like a giant spiders body, so it scares other spiders away. Seems right to me. Anyways, love your videos. Peace to you.
